Africa Advocacy Foundation- Not in Southwark but will support people in surrounding areas

Works with communities in the UK and overseas affected by a range of issues including sexual and reproduction health, violence against women and girls, female genital mutilation and mental health issues. Over 60s Active4Life Project: weekly coffee morning enabling older people to socialise, healthy eating sessions and access to food bank, group walks and exercise activities, enjoy small garden, opportunities to engage in volunteering, develop computer skills and join community befriending schemes

Stones End Day Centre

Stones End Day Centre supports older living in Southwark age 65 + to remain active and connected to their community.We also provide our members with daily freshly cooked hot meals to help maintain their nutritional health and friendly staff/volunteers to help our members engage in activities safely.

Positive Ageing at Blackfriars Wellbeing Service – Ageing Well Southwark Partner Service

Health & Wellbeing activities: A range of activities aimed at improving the physical health and well-being. These include: strength and balance exercise classes, Forget-Me-Not group for those concerned about their memory, information events, yoga classes, Smile Inside – Singing for COPD and MW, and access to the free older people’s osteopathy clinic.

Link Age Southwark: Groups

Exercise and activity groups across the borough. This includes gentle exercise groups and seated yoga and dance. We also run social conversation groups, bridge, singing, a lunch club and IT groups. Three of our groups are specifically for adults with dementia and these include singing, reading and a peer support group. We also offer one group for carers of those with dementia. Our groups are focused on improving both physical and mental health through exercise sessions held by those skilled in working with older people and those with mobility issues to gentle discursive groups that offer a peer network and social interaction.
