We want to create a world where people with sight and hearing loss can live life to the full through practical support, information and advice and befriending
we offer a range of services – from grants and training to housing and social events – to Scots and children of Scots living within 35 miles of Charing Cross.
Our services enable independence and build resilience and manage the symptoms of ill health, through community hubs and outreach, education and training and bespoke recovery support plans. We enable people to lead a meaningful life despite severe mental ill health.
Working with the community, we provide space for people to learn, eat and enjoy life together, and take collective action on local issues.
Community activities and assistance with people facing poverty
service can be accessed through a medical professional referral, or for existing clients by contacting them directly. Wheelchair and specialist seating service
A helpline that links people to the right source of strength and balance building exercises to prevent falls. Can be community exercise classes (30 week programme) at local centres, more intensive classes for 8 weeks in a hospital setting (transport provided) or 1-1 physiotherapy at home if housebound or complex (provided by CRAFs – Community Rehabilitation And Falls Service
