BlindAid has a sight support service and run community projects for visually impaired individuals to build social connections and focus on creative or mindful activities. BlindAid relies on an exceptional team of friendly and understanding Sight Support Workers who make regular visits and calls to service users, providing emotional support and practical help where possible. The Community Sight Support service is free and not time limited – they aim to offer regular support for as long as there is an identified need for the service. They also offer telephone befriending and supply some audio equipment.
