London Senior Social creates opportunities for older people aged 60 and over to engage in activities to reduce social isolation, make new friends, improve physical strength & balance, improve mental dexterity, and provide provide personal care support. The events range from manicures and pedicures, arts and crafts, dominoes, and seasonal parties (Valentine, Easter) to day trips to the seaside. They also offer Help @ Home, Cleaning (2 hours minimum, £20 per hour for cleaning, decluttering £25 per hour), and Information and Advice (Benefit Checks). They have two weekly sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays, whereby transport is provided. The costs are £25 per session with transport provided, or £10 without transport, which both include a hot meal.
