SDA is as a user led organisation that promotes the health and wellbeing of Deaf and Disabled People by ensuring that as Deaf and Disabled People we have access to society as a whole, are socially included, feel safe and have the right to be full and active members of the communities we live in through choice and self-determination.

Support, information and signposting for Black Minority Ethnic and refugee women and their children. Includes welfare rights, housing, immigration, domestic violence, health, educational opportunities and training. Interpreting service. CV preparation and help with gaining employment. Parenting support. Health and fitness class, with creche. Sewing class Thursday 10am-12 noon.Guided Healthy Walks 1030-11.30 am.
Southwark Carers provides information, advice and support to carers across the borough. We also aim to raise awareness of the rights and needs of carers in Southwark. We work in partnership with other local organisations to make sure that carers get as much support as possible.
Work with family carers of people living with dementia – a partner, family member or friend. Key aims are to help carers learn more about dementia and ways to improve their own wellbeing. Provide free courses designed and delivered by healthcare professionals, that will help carers develop skills and build confidence to navigate the highs and lows – meet and connect with people in a similar situation, learn how to make your life manageable and maintain your own health.
