Whether it’s through our services, projects, information, English classes, training, advice, advocacy, volunteering opportunities, or social and cultural events, our mission is to improve the quality of life for our users.
SDA is as a user led organisation that promotes the health and wellbeing of Deaf and Disabled People by ensuring that as Deaf and Disabled People we have access to society as a whole, are socially included, feel safe and have the right to be full and active members of the communities we live in through choice and self-determination.
The Manna staff and dedicated volunteers offer respect and loving care to those who come to the Day Centre. On average, we cater for around 120-150 people per day – mostly men. Approximately two thirds of our clients are homeless.
Supports people in caring roles in Southwark. Provide personalised one-to-one support to tackle issues causing stress. Provide information about carers rights and ensure carers are receiving everything they are entitled to. Help carers to enjoy their life outside of their caring role (facilitate access to leisure activities, education and work opportunities)
