Warm Home Prescription (WHP) is a service led by Energy Systems Catapult that helps
people with health conditions made worse by the cold stay warm and
well. We offer a range of services including money towards your heating bill, expert energy
advice and home energy improvements.
We work with local community partners and
energy advice experts to help you stay warm and well at home, whilst reducing the energy
consumption and carbon emissions of your home.
Support available
We tailor our support to meet your needs. Free support on offer includes:
- Money towards your heating costs
- Carbon monoxide safety advice and a monitor if you need one
- Priority Service Register aid so you get fast help in event of a power cut
- Smart meter information to see your energy usage more easily and end estimated bills
- Assessment for small-scale energy efficiency measures for example, draught excluders,
letter box covers or radiator reflector panels - Assessment for large-scale energy efficiency improvements for your home for
example, Government endorsed schemes such as ECO4 and the Great British Insulation

Getting Referred
With your permission, your Health service or community support program connects you to the service. Age UK Lewisham and Southwark can refer you if you feel you might be eligible for support.
